Password Protection for Task Formss

SmartSyncApp's Task Forms supports password protection to restrict who can create new child rows in your Smartsheet sheet. When enabled, users must enter the correct password before the form loads.

Why Password Protection Matters for Task Forms

Unlike Smart Form (which edits existing rows), Task Forms creates new rows. Unauthorized submissions can clutter the sheet, break budgets, and corrupt project plans. Password protection ensures only authorized individuals can submit new entries.

How It Works

Toggle password protection during Task Forms setup and set a password. Users opening the form link are prompted for the password before seeing any form fields or parent row options. Only after entering the correct password can they proceed.
