Common Issues & Solutions

Running into trouble? Check these common solutions before contacting support.

Configuration Shows Error Warning

If your configuration card has a red warning icon or says "Error", check the following:

  1. Sheet Exists? Verify the connected Source or Destination sheet hasn't been deleted or renamed.
  2. Permissions? Ensure you still have Admin or Editor access to the sheet.
  3. Columns Exist? Did someone delete a column you mapped? Re-save the configuration to fix column mappings.
  4. Try Resaving: Sometimes opening the configuration and clicking "Save" again refreshes the webhook connection.

Sync Not Working

1. Check Delays

Webhooks typically fire within 2-5 seconds. During high load, it might take up to 30 seconds. Be patient before assuming failure.

2. Check Trigger Conditions

For tools like TriggerFlow/TriggerMatrix, exact matching is required. "Completed" does not match "completed " (trailing space). Check your data for hidden spaces.

3. Check Error Columns

If you configured an Error Column in your tool settings, check the destination row for any error messages generated by SmartSync.

Display Issues

Form Link Not Loading

Ensure the public sharing link is correct. If the underlying sheet was deleted, the form will show a 404 error. Also verify that your Reference Column (for Update forms) still contains data.

Map Pins in Wrong Location

If pins appear in the ocean or wrong country, your address data is likely ambiguous. Add "City, Country" to your address column to help the geocoder.
