Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with SmartSync. If you're not happy, we offer a fair and transparent refund policy.
Beta Period Note:
SmartSync is currently in beta and free for all users. This refund policy will apply once paid plans are launched.
1. 14-Day Full Refund
We offer a full, no-questions-asked refund for new subscriptions if the request is made within 14 days of your first payment, provided you have not used the service extensively.
"Extensively" is defined as: Having performed fewer than 50 successful automation operations during this period.
2. 30-Day Partial Refund
If you request a refund between 15 and 30 days after your payment, we offer a 50% refund. This option is available regardless of your usage volume during that month.
3. After 30 Days
We do not offer refunds for monthly subscriptions after 30 days have passed. For annual subscriptions, no refunds are available after the first 30 days of the term.
4. Exceptions (What Does NOT Qualify)
Refunds are not available in the following situations:
- Service interruptions caused by Smartsheet API changes or outages (which are outside our control).
- Changes to or removal of specific features as we update the platform.
- If your account was terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
- "Founding Member" discounted subscriptions (due to the deeply discounted rate, these are non-refundable after the initial 14-day window).
5. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Email us at support@smartsyncapp.com.
- Use the subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Email]".
- Please include a brief reason for your request. This feedback is optional but helps us improve the product for everyone.
We typically process refund requests within 5-10 business days.
6. Verification & Processing
Once approved, refunds are processed immediately to your original method of payment. Please note that it may take your bank or credit card provider an additional 5-10 business days to post the credit to your statement.
7. Cancellation vs. Refund
It is important to distinguish between cancellation and a refund:
- Cancellation: Stops future billing. You retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing cycle.
- Refund: Returns your money. Your access to paid features ends immediately upon processing.
You may cancel your subscription at any time without penalty.
