All data transmitted between your browser and SmartSync is encrypted using TLS 1.3, the current industry standard. We maintain a Grade A rating from SSL Labs, ensuring your data is protected during transmission.
Authentication Security
SmartSync uses OAuth 2.0 for Smartsheet authentication. You log in directly to Smartsheet — we never see, receive, or store your Smartsheet password. Access tokens are encrypted at rest in our database.
Data Minimization
We process your Smartsheet data in real-time to perform automations but do not store your actual sheet content long-term. We only retain configuration settings (sheet IDs, column mappings) necessary to provide our services.
Access Control
SmartSync only requests the minimum Smartsheet permissions required for each tool. You can revoke access anytime from your Smartsheet account settings. We cannot delete sheets, workspaces, or your Smartsheet account.
