No Smartsheet Access Required for Form Users

SmartSyncApp's Smart Form allows anyone with the form link to view and update their designated row in a Smartsheet sheet, even if they have never used Smartsheet and do not have a license. The form runs entirely in a web browser and communicates with Smartsheet through SmartSyncApp's backend.

How It Works

The form link opens a standalone web page hosted by SmartSyncApp. The page communicates with the Smartsheet API using the credentials of the SmartSyncApp administrator who configured the form. The external user interacts only with the web form and never accesses Smartsheet directly. They cannot see the sheet, other rows, formulas, or any data beyond the fields exposed in their specific form.
