Before You Start

Decide if you want images in grid cells (requires a text/number column) or as row attachments.

Step-by-Step Configuration

Navigate to Camera Form
Select "Camera Form" from the dashboard.
Select Sheet & Mode
Choose your sheet. Select "Create New" to add new rows or "Update Existing" to attach photos to existing items.
Configure Image Settings
Select "Image Mode":
- Cell: Displays the image directly in the grid (requires selecting a target column).
- Attachment: Adds the file to the row's attachment list.
Select Fields
Choose other columns to display on the form (e.g., description, date).
Save & Share
Save to generate a mobile-friendly link.

Camera not opening?The user must allow browser camera permissions when prompted.
Photo not appearing in cell?Verify you selected "Cell" mode and chose a valid column. Note that Smartsheet displays cell images as small thumbnails.
