Managing Your Account

Update Email or Password

Currently, you cannot change your email address self-service as it is your primary identifier. To change your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page or visit your account settings page (coming soon).

Smartsheet Connection

One-User-One-Account Policy

SmartSync strictly enforces a 1-to-1 relationship between your SmartSync user account and a Smartsheet account. You cannot connect multiple Smartsheet accounts to a single SmartSync login.

Why? This ensures security and prevents authorized users from accidentally syncing data to unauthorized accounts.

Changing Connected Accounts

If you need to switch which Smartsheet account is connected (e.g., you changed jobs or have a new Smartsheet email), you must contact our support team. We will assist in resetting your connection safely.

Revoking Access

You can revoke SmartSync's access at any time from within Smartsheet:

  1. Log in to Smartsheet.com
  2. Go to Account > Personal Settings
  3. Click API Access
  4. Find "SmartSync" and click Revoke

Once revoked, all your scheduled automations will stop working immediately.

Data & Privacy

What data do we store?

We only store the configuration metadata needed to run your tools (e.g., "Sheet A Column B syncs to Sheet X Column Y"). We do not persistently store your sheet content (rows, cell values). Data is processed in real-time via encrypted memory.

Deleting Your Account

To permanently delete your SmartSync account and all configurations, please email support.Note: Deleting your SmartSync account does NOT affect your data inside Smartsheet. Your sheets remain untouched.
